Happy Birthday !!!

We are celebrating the first year of the Sleeping for Tomorrow project, digital part – thank you for being with us in this journey, connecting people from all over the world together, sharing ideas and thoughts in the name of art and people.

The digital part connects the physical and digital worlds (that is the real installations, the virtual experience and the website with it’s blog and map).

In this first year, we had more than 700 interactions with the digital experience of the project around the world.

We had six conversations with exciting people from the art and culture world. They were describing their points of view about our current situations from the viewpoints of Germany, Cambodia, Seoul, Zambia, Oslo, South Korea & Dublin.

We realized four installations that were actually connecting the project in the physical and virtual world: the one-men bunker from WW2 & recording boxes connecting with the virtual experience (September 21st), an installation and talk in the Kunsthalle Duesseldorf (end of March until mid-Mai 2022) and our new flag exhibited from last week is connecting to the virtual project in Space collection, Liège, Belgium, as part of the Very Contemporary network.

In the coming year of the project we are planning to grow with new installations and collaborations in different places in the world, sharing and connecting new ideas, collaborating with different people, communities & more, and new talks and discussions.

Our next talk will feature Rita McBride, an amazing and highly acknowledged American sculptor and installation artist. She is a professor at the Kunstakademie Duesseldorf and served as its director from 2013- 2017.

This recorded conversation will be released this month.
